Caitlin Burnett, a loving wife and mother of three daughters, was the youngest child of longtime Little Compton residents, Tom and Fran Fennessey. As an English teacher at Portsmouth Middle School, Caitlin shared her passion for books, and more than anything adored watching her students grow. The recipient of this scholarship is seeking a degree in Education or English and wants to make a positive impact in young people’s lives.
This scholarship is distributed by Scholarship Little Compton, a 501c3 organization that has helped Little Compton students in their quest for higher education for over 55 years.
